Life transitions
Life often throws us unexpected curveballs, and these transitions, whether positive or negative, can leave us feeling overwhelmed and uncertain. However, with the right mindset and tools, you possess the ability not only to weather these storms but also to emerge as a stronger, more authentic version of yourself.
Embracing Change for Growth
Change, though daunting at times, can serve as a catalyst for personal development. Each transition offers an opportunity to tap into our inner resilience, fostering strength, confidence, and a deeper understanding of ourselves and our surroundings. Through adversity, we acquire new skills and insights that prepare us for whatever challenges lie ahead.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate various life transitions, including:
• Immigration. I support supports refugees in adapting to life in Canada by addressing mental health issues that may arise due to cultural adjustments, language barriers, and resettlement stress. The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) is a Canadian initiative that provides limited, temporary coverage of health-care benefits to people in specific categories who aren’t eligible for provincial or territorial health insurance. This includes refugees, refugee claimants, and other people who are detained under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
