Support for IFHP clients

Starting over or navigating uncertainty in a new environment can bring many challenges. You may be adjusting to changes in your daily life, your sense of stability, or your connection to others, while also carrying past experiences that may still feel present. You do not have to go through this alone.

Understanding your experience

Individuals eligible for the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) may face:

  • Stress related to uncertainty or changes in life circumstances

  • Anxiety, sleep difficulties, or persistent worry

  • Effects of past or ongoing difficult experiences

  • Isolation or loss of familiar supports

  • Challenges adapting to new systems, environments, or expectations

How I can support you

I offer counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, respectful, and culturally responsive space.

Together, we can work on:

  • Processing difficult experiences at your own pace

  • Reducing emotional distress and overwhelm

  • Strengthening coping strategies for daily life

  • Supporting adjustment to new environments and systems

  • Rebuilding a sense of safety, stability, and self-trust

IFHP coverage

The Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) covers part of the cost of counselling and psychotherapy services.

  • Starting May 1, 2026, a 30% co-payment is required for each session

  • The exact amount will be clearly explained before starting

  • We can explore possible options for support if cost is a concern

My goal is to make services as accessible and transparent as possible.

Let’s talk

If you are unsure about your coverage, the co-payment, or your needs, I invite you to reach out. We can have a conversation to:

  • Go over your IFHP coverage and expected costs

  • Answer any questions you may have

  • Explore what kind of support would be helpful for you

There is no pressure or obligation—just a space to talk and see what feels right for you.
